Lapping at earth’s floor
Taking some but leaving more
Waves washing the shore

Beams of lost sunlight
Hand of God sets from our sight
Bringing on the night

Sweeping twilight skies
Pull us toward nighttime sighs
Till we reach sunrise

Eyes stealing a glance
Little hands will take a chance
Raccoons own romance

Prairie sounds of dawn
Shadows drift, as they grow long
Winds whisper their song

The bridges luring me
Toward an unknown destiny
Beckons endlessly

A bridge is implied
Where the chasm became wide
Across the divide

Winter's dying light
Hovers on the edge of night
Soon the world turns white

Autumn leaves flutter
As nature ebbs and mutters
Its mirror shudders

Sunrise dances bright
Rainbows made of spectral light
Chasing off the night

Sunset's out of sight
Clouds reflect the loss of light
Heaven falls to night

Driftwood lost its tide
Keeping safe whatever hides
Sand and stones inside

Silhouettes of lace
Echoing a distant place
Palms swaying with grace

Buzzing in the air
Touching down without a care
Flitting everywhere

Purple violet sky
Angry clouds begin to cry
Autumn falls on high

Over natures moat
Castles of the cavemen float
Under heavens coat

Swamp of rotting reeds
Filled with cat nine tails and weeds
Home to future seeds

Cactus prickly
Standing guard in lei of trees
Desert sentries

Warming carves a path
Through the winter's bitter wrath
Into springtime’s bath

Waves cleansing the land
Washing over best laid plans
Footprints on the sand

Flowers on the pond
Little pads that frogs rest on
While they sing their song

Jumping from a hedge
Living life out on a ledge
Resting on the edge

Wings upon the wind
Sends them back to where they’ve been
There the air is thin

Changing colors echo time
Painting God’s design

Ripples with a shake
Floating in a gentile wake
Bubbles on the lake

Mirrored reflections
Without life’s imperfections
Accord deceptions

Nightfall crystalline
Heaven sends you as a sign
Life is but divine

Dark shadows falling
Through lines that light is drawing
Nighttime is calling

Daybreak crystalline
Framed beyond the ancient pine
Majesty divine

Share and share alike
You give green and I'll give white
In a toast of life

Opposites attract
Take a chance and don’t look back
Nothing is exact

Perfectly aligned
As the wings of life rewind
Patchwork quilt designs

Lightly dance on air
Show the world you have no cares
Flutter everywhere

Heaven within sight
Clouds obliterate the light
Passing with the night
